This is a puzzle I designed for my characters. It isn't meant to have a high success rate. Essentially it's a multie layerd puzzle. It is meant to be together in a box with a type of medicinal powder that essentially is a unique mindshield potion. I intend for my players to find this box while pulling together clues as they discover details about the ship they are on. The ship they are on is destined for the new world. The entire crew has been hired for this quest, except for the party and a few passangers. The ship however is not a legitimate treck. The benefactor intends to use this vessal to track a course to the new world by following another ship bound for this new world. Much of the crew are in place to occupy the ship during an event before arriving at the island nation. The entire island is surounded by wild magic of incredibly destructive nature as well there is an attack on the mind as creatures aproach making the treck nearly impossible to survive. During this point many of the crew will take over the ship using this potion but their boss Julius likes to be secretive and enjoys puzzles. There is a dash-digit clue at the bottom that gives the instruction to put a gold coin in the mixture. it also helps specify that the clues "not, one or two but three" doesn't specify 3 mugs but 3 gulps. The letter mentions when the potion should be taken (when the men feel the effects of the mind attack.) The potion will not only protect the mind but also allow the drinker to be able to gain incredible finesse in movement while traversing even a heavily rocking ship. fun little puzzle.
