I'm trying to make small map vignettes each week in October. I wanted them to be centered around a singular prop/asset, and I wanted to try using props/assets I don't typically use. This one features a dead, hollow tree that might be used as a hangout, a place of nefarious worship, or even a secret entrance.

When I was a kid, there used to be a tree very similar to this one just off the cross-country trail in a large, overgrown field. My friends and I would climb on it. The tree was dubbed the Magic Tree by kids older than us and was frequently surrounded by trash - mainly beer bottles and cans. We would also find an assortment of black candles which we attributed to devil worshippers or the like!
