Cave is designed with multiple factions in mind: Goblins (or your other choice of baddie) in the main area, and spiders in the webbed section. Barricade is intended to keep the spiders locked away. Built by current residents when they were first exploring the area.

Includes a secret side passage. It can either act as a way to have the baddies sneak up behind the players, or (if they find it) allow the players to access a cool shortcut to the end of the first faction's territory, possibly releasing the spiders and luring the two factions into a three-way fight. Also provides largely one-way snooping access to a room about halfway through the cave system. Could be used to get the drop on their enemies.
