This great dungeon is a dwarven forge, with the master forge being on a platform suspended over the center of an active volcano. Just south of the master forge is the Hall of Witnesses, where the other forge masters pound their hammers in sight of the master forge. The lesser smiths work just one row back. In my campaign, hobgoblins have taken over the facility and bashed in the massive statue of the First Ancestor in their worship hall, installing their own profane altar. That\'s why the dining halls to the east are mostly destroyed or ransacked.

The great secret, of course, is that the volcano that the Everflame Forge is built on has long been dormant. Only through the flames of a capture dragon does the forge still operate. Can the heroes defeat the hobgoblins and free the dragon?
